Advanced Optometric Technology
Our optometrists use cutting-edge technology to provide superior care:
Optomap Retinal Imaging
This revolutionary technology captures an ultra-widefield view of your retina (200 degrees) in a single image, without dilation in many cases. This allows our optometrists to detect eye diseases earlier and monitor changes over time.
Digital Refraction
Computer-assisted refraction provides more precise measurements for your prescription, ensuring optimal vision with your glasses or contacts.
Corneal Topography
This advanced imaging maps the surface of your cornea, essential for specialty contact lens fittings and detecting conditions like keratoconus.
When to See an Optometrist
Regular visits to your optometrist are important for maintaining healthy vision. Schedule an appointment if you experience:
- Blurred or decreased vision
- Eye pain or discomfort
- Frequent headaches
- Double vision
- Flashes of light or floaters
- Red, irritated, or dry eyes
- Difficulty seeing at night
- Eye strain from computer use
Even if you're not experiencing symptoms, regular eye exams are crucial. Many eye conditions have no early warning signs, and early detection is key to preserving your vision.
Optometric Care for All Ages
Children's Vision Care
Our optometrists recommend children have their first eye exam at 6 months, again at age 3, before starting kindergarten, and annually thereafter. Early detection of vision problems is crucial for learning and development.
Adult Vision Care
Adults should have comprehensive eye exams annually or as recommended by their optometrist. Regular exams help detect changes in vision and eye health conditions early.
Senior Vision Care
As we age, the risk of eye diseases increases. Seniors should have annual exams to monitor for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other age-related conditions.
Insurance & Accessibility
We accept most vision insurance plans including VSP, EyeMed, and many others. We also work with medical insurance for health-related eye conditions. Our staff will help you maximize your benefits and understand your coverage.
